Dr Charles D. Brown, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Brown is a licensed practicing psychologist health care provider, as well as a nationally certified school psychologist. He received his Ph.D. from Boston College in Educational Psychology and his clinical training from the Kennedy Hospital in Boston (now known as The Franciscan Children's Hospital) and from the Human Relations Service in Wellesley, MA. Dr. Brown is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and has been in private practice, specializing in therapy for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents for over 25 years. He served as a school psychologist for the Belmont Public Schools for 28 years and has taught at Tufts University in the School Psychology graduate school program and developed the Belmont School Psychology Internship Program with local universities including Tufts, UMass and Northeastern University. He also taught School Psychology graduate students at the Williams James College from September 2006 through May 2017.
